THANK YOU TRUSTEE BARSTOW

Trustee Joseph Barstow dedicated the past 12 years to the District and the Sun Valley community. After attending several District Board meetings and praying, Joseph felt that along with the rest of the Board members, he could help the community by serving on the District Board. He is proud of how the District has been able to improve the Sun Valley community along with working to keep water and sewer rates as low as possible. Joseph looks forward to staying involved by serving as the Pastor of his church, helping with the food pantry, and being a part of this great growing community. Joseph stated, “If he isn’t busy enough, his wonderful wife Angela has quite the “Honey-do” list for him.”

The District would like to thank Joseph for his commitment to the District Board and to the Sun Valley community.

RADON DETECTION MONTH

The District proclaims January as Radon Detection Month. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas released in the ground from the natural decay of uranium. It is the primary cause of lung cancer among nonsmokers. Customers can pick up a FREE radon detection kit at the District’s office during the months of January and February while supplies last. For more information on Radon, please contact the University of Nevada, Reno Extension at 775-336-0252 or visit radonnv.com
