Pool Season
The Sun Valley Robert and Norma Fink Pool Complex will open June 13, 2014. Operating hours are 12pm until 5pm Wednesday through Sunday, closed to the public on Monday and Tuesday. Daily admission for Youth and Seniors is $3.50, Adults $4.50, and age 2 and under are free. You can reserve the pool for your party or event. Swim Lessons
Youth swim lessons are $40 per session and cover a wide range of skills and abilities, from basic safety and swim readiness, using play as the primary form of teaching to the more advanced lessons which teach the fundamentals and techniques of front and back crawl, diving skills and stroke development. Swim lesson sessions will be offered June to August 2014. You can register for swim lessons beginning May 1st at the District office located at 5000 Sun Valley Blvd., or at the pool located at 115 W. 6th Ave., beginning June 13 during normal operating hours.

Water Conservation
As the drought in the Truckee Meadows continues, conserving water is more important than ever. Sun Valley residents and businesses are asked to adhere to the voluntary three times a week watering schedule for lawns. Assigned days for even addresses are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Assigned days for odd addresses are Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It is best not to water during the hours of noon to 6pm as that is the hottest time of the day.

You can pay your monthly bill by one of the following options:
• At the District office by cash, check, money order (at no charge) or with your Visa/ MasterCard/Discover credit or debit card ($1 fee applies)
• At the District drop box by check or money order (at no charge)
• Through the mail by check or money order (postage rates apply)
• ACH – Automatic deduction on your due date from your checking account (at no charge)
• By phone with a Visa/MasterCard/Discover credit or debit card ($1 fee applies)
• Or by using your personal bank online bill pay service (fees vary by bank)
Sun Valley Easter Egg Hunt
The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows 3rd annual Easter Egg Hunt held April 19 was a huge success! Over 200 kids and their families had a great time. The Easter Bunny made the day for many youngsters with 6000 colored eggs to hunt and enjoy. The District was very happy to be a part of this fun day as the event partner with the Boys & Girls Club.
Adopt-A-Park Program
The Adopt-A-Park program is designed to provide participants with the opportunity for hands-on work in our parks, helping to keep them clean, attractive and safe for everyone to enjoy. The Adopt-A-Park program is open to individuals, neighborhood associations, civic groups, faithbased organizations, service organizations, school groups, businesses and other community organizations.
