SUN VALLEY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT is currently accepting applications for 2025 Sun Valley Pool Aquatic Staff and Water/Wastewater Service Technician.  Applications will be accepted until positions have been filled.

Pool Cashier

This position is under the general direction of the Public Works Director and the daily direction of the Aquatics Supervisor, assists in the operation of facilities that require the collection of monies for admissions, programs and concessions within the Sun Valley swimming facility; and performs related work as required.

Lifeguard

This position under the general direction of the Public Works Director and the daily direction of the Aquatics Supervisor, enforces water safety regulations and oversees swimmers at swimming facility, promoting patron health, enjoyment and safety.

Service Technician – Entry Level

Service Technician – Grade I

Service Technician – Grade II

If you’re looking to take your career to the next level and possess a Nevada Water Distribution Grade II Certification (or equivalent), the Grade II Service Technician role offers more responsibilities and challenges. This position involves working with a high level of independence and proficiency in water and wastewater systems.

Service Technician – Grade III

The Grade III Service Technician position is ideal for experienced professionals with a Nevada Water Distribution Grade III Certification (equivalent or higher) who are ready to take on leadership roles within the water and utility sector. As a Grade III Service Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of water and sewer systems.
